How Dziri decides what you see
In plain words: the principles behind recommendations, the controls in your hands, how moderation works and what we publish.

Our principles
Dziri Intelligence chooses what you see by principles, not just clicks.
- Useful over empty
- Authentic over manipulated
- Trustworthy over deceptive
- Opportunity over exclusion
- Original over copied
- Relevant over viral
- Local value over generic popularity
- Healthy diversity over repetition
- Your choice over hidden manipulation
- Long-term satisfaction over short-term clicks
How recommendations work
What shapes your feed.
Who you follow
The “Following” view shows posts from people you follow, and what you follow counts in the rest of your feed too.
What you do
What you watch, like, save and share helps choose what comes next, and so do “More like this” and “Less like this”.
Your settings
“Tune your feed” lets you block, reduce or boost the channels and topics in your feed.
Where things happen
“Nearby” shows what's happening around you, and “Trending in Algeria” what's popular across the country. Your precise location is used only if you allow it.
Sponsored is labeled
When a brand pays for a place in your feed, the post carries a “Sponsored” label.
Reasons on request
“Why am I seeing this?” on a post shows the main reasons it was shown to you.
What Dziri Intelligence does for you
The goals behind every recommendation.
Value and quality
Useful, original content wins, not the loudest post.
Made for Algeria
Understands what posts mean in Darija, Arabic, French, English and Arabizi, and knows wilayas and communes.
A mix, not a loop
Varied creators, topics and places, and a fair first look for new creators.
A fair chance
Small businesses and people outside the big cities get seen too.
Right for you, right now
Follows your interests, the people you follow, what you're looking for and what's fresh.
Opportunities, not just ads
Ways to earn, sell and work, campaigns for the right people, and shopping that doesn't flood your feed.
Reputation that means something
Earned area by area, not one score for everything, and genuine contributions are rewarded.
Time well spent
Designed to be useful, not to keep you scrolling.
You're in control
Controls that change what you see.
- Why am I seeing this?
- More like this
- Less like this
- Tune your feed
- Not interested
- Hide a topic
- Mute a creator
- Follow a topic
- More local
- More professional
- More opportunities
- Less commercial
How moderation works
The rules, what we do and what you can expect.
The community guidelines set out what is allowed on Dziri. They apply to everyone: members, creators, sellers and brands.
What we do
- Members can report posts, profiles, messages and listings, and reports are reviewed.
- Content that breaks the guidelines can be limited or removed. Accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly can be suspended.
- Some of these steps are automated.
- If you think we got a decision wrong, appeal from the app or write to appeals@dziri.app.
What you can expect
- A safety review in which content can be limited, labeled, age-restricted or removed, with human review for hard cases.
- A notice with the reason whenever we act on your content or account.
- An appeal button in the app, with a second review by a different person.
Transparency reports
Dziri publishes transparency reports on content moderation, appeals and requests from authorities. This page explains how things work, and we update it whenever they change.
