Intellectual property policy

On this page
Dziri respects the intellectual property of others and asks the people who use it to do the same. Our Terms of service do not allow content that infringes someone else’s rights. This page explains how rights holders can report such content to us.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in content published on Dziri: posts, videos, comments, profiles, market listings and business storefronts.
Some content in Dziri comes from other platforms, such as videos played from YouTube or TikTok. That content stays hosted by the platform it comes from. You can report it to us, and you may also need to contact that platform to have it removed at the source.
2. How to send a notice
Email legal@dziri.app with the subject line Intellectual property notice. Send one notice per rights holder; you can list several links in it.
3. What to include
- your full name and, if you act for the rights holder, their name and proof that you are authorised to act for them
- your contact details: postal address, email address and phone number
- a description of the work or trademark you say is infringed, with the registration number for a registered trademark
- the exact link to each piece of content on Dziri you are reporting
- why you believe the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them
- your signature, which can be your full name typed
A notice that is missing information may take longer to handle, or we may not be able to act on it.
4. What happens next
We review each notice on its own facts and may ask you for more information. If we conclude that the content infringes your rights, we may remove it or restrict access to it, and we may tell the person who published it why. We do not promise a particular outcome or timeframe.
Accounts that repeatedly publish infringing content may be suspended or closed, as our Terms of service allow.
5. If your content was removed
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, or that you have the right to use it, write to appeals@dziri.app with the link to the content, your username and the reasons you have the right to use it, including any licence or permission you hold.
6. Notices sent in bad faith
Only send a notice for rights you hold or are authorised to act for. We may disregard notices that are clearly abusive or misleading. A notice that is knowingly false can also have consequences under the law.
7. Other requests
- Requests from authorities: see Law enforcement and authority requests.
- Content that is harmful or dangerous: safety@dziri.app.
- Personal data about you: privacy@dziri.app.
8. Dziri's own intellectual property
The Dziri name and logo, the design of the service and its software belong to Digital Trendz, which operates Dziri, or to its licensors (see section 8 of our Terms of service). Please do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse or partner with you without our written permission.
